Jennie W. Trovinger
Early Childhood Consultant and Entrepreneur

Jennie W. Trovinger is an early childhood consultant, teacher, trainer, parent, former childcare center director, and business owner. Educationally, she holds Associate and Bachelor degrees and completed her graduate degree in January, 2007, all in early childhood education. Her experiences during the last thirty (30) years include serving children and families in a variety of capacities; fifteen of which have been in childcare management.

Mrs. Trovinger began her career as a teaching assistant and worked her way up the career ladder from childcare to Kindergarten teacher to Head Start Education Coordinator. Her management career includes opening two childcare centers from ground up; both centers at full capacity within the first three months of operation. During her tenure as a manager, she discovered her passion for marketing, customer service and training adults. Her philosophy on marketing includes providing the very best program possible and "they will come."

Today she enjoys presenting these topics and many more. She has been blessed to share her message of improving the quality of care for children in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Chicago and Texas. Currently, she is working on her first marketing manual called, "Marketing Your Program through Quality Planning and Programming."

Last of all, is her substitute temp service called, "Substitutes On Standby." Ms. Trovinger says that SOS has been quite a learning experience over the last three years. Most recently she has expanded this business into placing nannies, providing child care for national conferences and filling "niches" for care that are not met elsewhere. Her goal is to one day have SOS's all over the country!

Her mantra is, "Let's make children a national priority!"
